DUI is the leading cause of traffic deaths in Washington. Target Zero Teams want to stop DUIs before they kill or injure. Target Zero Teams include increased numbers of Washington State Patrol and local police, special prosecutors, and community members who are focused on stopping DUI crashes. While on patrol law enforcement may take action on any crime that is called to their attention. Also, these efforts are above and beyond current police activities.

Target Zero Managers

Target Zero Managers lead local Traffic Safety Task Forces throughout the state. Traffic Safety Task Forces work with local individuals from public and private sectors to implement programs identified by Target Zero: The Plan.
